Monster Hunter World has announced a raft of new updates, including an expansion pack called Iceborne, and a collaboration with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Iceborne will be available in Autumn 2019, and includes "new quest ranks, locales, monsters, moves and equipment". Its story will also follow from the main game's conclusion.
In a separate update, timed for early 2019, Geralt of Rivia (fully voiced by original voice actor Doug Cockle) will also become available as a playable character (presumably through a skin). The update will also weave RPG elements familiar from The Witcher series into Monster Hunter World, although it's not clear yet how that will manifest itself.
