The Apex Legends community is rallying together to raise money for a relief effort in Mozambique after the country was hit by Cyclone Idai. The natural disaster has caused mass flooding and heavy damages.
The reason for this rally - beyond the community being lovely and generous - lies in the game’s worst weapon: the Mozambique shotgun pistol. The triple-barreled sidearm is so ineffective that it has become Apex Legends’ most enduring meme. Thanks to the gun being so synonymous with Apex Legends, it has inspired a Reddit thread dedicated to helping the country of Mozambique recover.
